Three candidates have filed for three open seats on the Valley Park Board of Education. Because the number of candidates matches the number of available positions, state statute allows the Valley Park School District to appoint board members this year rather than hold an election for the three-year terms.
Congratulations to our newly appointed board members. We’re excited to welcome one new face, Elicia Bailey, and recognize two returning members, Lisa Finder and Rebecca Menley, who will continue serving on the board.

Any person wishing to file for the Valley Park School District Board of Education may do so at the St. Louis County Board of Elections, 725 Northwest Plaza Dr., St. Ann, MO 63074. Filing will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, through Tuesday, December 30, 2025, during regular office hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. They will be closed on December 25, 2025. Please check the county website for any additional dates they may be closed: https://stlouiscountymo.gov/st-louis.../board-of-elections/. An election for three seats on the board will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The seats carry a three-year term.
