The Missouri Seal of Biliteracy and Distinguished Missouri Seal of Biliteracy is awarded to graduating high school students in districts with a DESE-approved program, who have demonstrated achievement in English, a Language Other Than English and sociocultural competence. All Missouri students studying any of the world’s languages are potential Seal candidates. Congratulations to our awardees! #VPPride
This year, the Class of 2024 had 37% earn A plus honors. The A+ Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship that provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend participating public community colleges or vocational/technical schools, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools. Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to our cafeteria crews who serve our kids with a smile each day! A special thanks to Kim Jaudes, Food Service Director, who keeps the whole thing running! So far, this year, they have served over 58,000 lunches, 17,000 breakfasts, and 5,000 extra entrees to students and staff. Valley Park Night at the Ballpark is back again, and everyone is invited! This is a fundraiser for the elementary music room as well as a chance for our 4th and 5th graders and Middle and High School music department students of the 2024-2025 school year to sing on the baseball field at Busch Stadium. The game is Sept. 8, 2024 at 1:15pm. A form has been sent home with all elementary students. Ticket orders are due May 17th.
