Happy Friday!

This week is Parent/ Teacher Conferences! Monday and Wednesday after school teachers will be meeting with you to celebrate all of your child’s successes. If you have not signed-up for a time slot please reach out to your child’s teacher. 

Thursday is Friendship Day and PJ Day! Bring one dollar and wear your pajamas. You can also bring a stuffed fluffy friend. 

Also as a reminder, we do not have school Friday, March 15 through Friday March 22 for Spring Break!

Need To Know….

Prop B Information:  

Prop B: Building Better Schools & Brighter Futures, a Zero-Tax Increase Bond Issue, will be on the April 2nd ballot.

Prop B aims to modernize and improve our schools, creating personalized, student-centered, and safe learning environments for all students. If approved, Prop B will repair, renovate, and restore every school, classroom, and restroom in our district, modernize many of our learning spaces, improve our safety and security efforts district-wide, and address critical infrastructure needs.

Valley Park Showdown: Valley Park Theater Department is proud to present the inaugural Valley Park Showdown on April 5: an interactive and fun game show experience for and by members of the Valley Park Community. We will be accepting 25-30 applicants (minimum age 10) to participate in games like Family Feud, The Match Game, and Whose Line Is It Anyway?  Apply before 3/14 for your chance to be part of the fun!  Accepted applicants will be contacted the week of March 18-22.  Simply scan the QR code to apply.  Send any inquiries to smagalli@vpschools.org.

Book Fair Information: 

Hello!  Our Book Fair is open to families the week of conferences. This event provides SO many books for our kids!  And this fair, each student at VP gets to select a free book (thanks to a grant).  😀

Stories with Students: Our next stories with students event will be April 12th from 8:45-9:15. Please note the date change. We will be sending home flyers once we get back from Spring Break with more information. 

Summer Camp:

Preschool Registration: Below are flyers with information on how to register your child for preschool. Be sure to check out the Peek a Boo event we offer in June to help them transition and get comfortable.
