From The Principals…..
Happy Friday!
Our students continue to work hard and are diving deeper into their learning this week! We love seeing all the activities happening in classrooms and how engaged our Hawks are in their learning!
Our first PTO meeting of the year is this Tuesday, September 12 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. These meetings are a great opportunity to learn more about the parent supported activities that happen here at school, how to get more involved as a volunteer, and meet other VPE families and parents. We will also be talking about Title 1 and how it helps our students academic achievement. Please plan to attend!
Please read all of the information below for important news and events. As always, reach out to us with any celebrations, concerns, or comments.
Sincerely,
Dr. Monroe and Mrs. Butz
Need To Know….
PARENT PICK_UP/DROP-OFF REMINDERS
We hope you and your students are doing well and excited about the new school year. As we settle into this fresh start, we want to remind you about our important pick-up and drop-off procedures. These procedures are in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
For Elementary and Early Childhood students, please use the circle drive in front of the early childhood center. This area is staffed with district employees and designed to efficiently and safely accommodate younger students.
Parents of Middle and High School students, please enter the parking lot near the softball field off Main Street and drop off and pick up your students in the designated area. The main parking lot is reserved for staff parking and school buses only.
By following these designated drop-off and pick-up points, we can work together to create a safer and more efficient environment for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding of the importance of student safety.

Visitor Management System: Valley Park School District welcomes parents and other community members into schools for special events, meetings, tours, and other occasions. However, keeping students and staff safe at school is something we take very seriously. To increase security at all our school buildings, we have been utilizing the Hall Pass Visitors Management System to track visitors. The system is simple and easy to use. The only thing you need is a government-issued ID.
