Valley Park School District is excited to announce the promotion of Tanja Boyet as the Executive Director of Finance and Operations for the upcoming academic year of 2024-2025! Tanja's efforts as the district's bookkeeper and payroll specialist since 2021 have dramatically improved the business office's efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Tanja is a highly qualified professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, with a Double Major in Accounting and Auditing from St. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia. She has also recently been accepted into the MOASBO School Business Specialist (SBS) Certification Program and plans to take her school finance certification examination in the Fall of 2024.
Dr. Tim Dilg, Superintendent, expressed his gratitude towards Tanja for her exceptional work in the business office over the past three years. "Her collaborative nature, analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and impeccable work ethic have been invaluable to our learning community. She brings extensive professional experience from the banking industry and familiarity with the district's insurance benefits, payroll management, and auditing practices. Her unique understanding of the district's financial operations and her willingness to learn and grow in her new leadership role make her the ideal candidate for this important position."
Tanja noted, “It’s been wonderful to serve the Valley Park community for the last three years. I’m really excited to take on a larger leadership role as the Executive Director of Finance and Operations. It’s been great to work with Dr. Lowe and Dr. Dilg in my current role and I will continue to leverage the skills and knowledge I’ve gained.
